Academic Scholarship (IBED)

The following are the scholarship programs Holy Trinity University offers, which are enjoyed by the qualified HTU students:

  1. ESC (Educational Service Contracting) / SHS Voucher Program – is a government subsidy given to students who are the overflows of the public schools and can meet the standard of the school.
  2. Full Tuition Fee – Holy Trinity University (HTU) students from Grades 2 to 11, who are ranked 1 at the end of the academic year shall be granted a full tuition fee scholarship for the succeeding school year. This scholarship is renewable annually, provided that the student continues to obtain the Rank 1 distinction within their respective grade level at the end of each academic year. Incoming Grade 7 students who completed Grade 6 from other schools and graduated as Rank 2 may also qualify for the full tuition fee scholarship, subject to submission of a duly signed certification from the School Director or Principal of their previous institution verifying the student’s academic rank. This scholarship shall only be valid and applicable in sections or grade levels where the total number of officially enrolled students exceeds thirty-five (35). Should the total enrollment fall below this minimum requirement, the scholarship shall not be granted or renewed for that academic year.
  3. Half Tuition – Holy Trinity University (HTU) students from Grades 2 to 11 who are ranked 2 at the end of the academic year shall be granted a half tuition fee scholarship for the succeeding school year. This scholarship is renewable annually, provided that the student continues to achieve the Second Honors distinction within their respective grade level at the end of each academic year. Incoming Grade 7 students who completed Grade 6 from other schools and graduated as Rank 2 may also qualify for the half tuition fee scholarship, subject to submission of a duly signed certification from the School Director or Principal of their previous institution, officially confirming their academic rank. This scholarship shall only be valid and applicable in sections or grade levels where the total number of officially enrolled students exceeds thirty-five (35). Should the total enrollment fall below this minimum requirement, the scholarship shall not be granted or renewed for that academic year.
Academic Scholarship Program for Regular Students (College)
  1. One year residency.
  2. One trimester full scholarship for Highest Honors with a rank of 1, renewable every trimester thereafter if the student maintains an acceptable academic performance with a general average of 1.00 with no grade lower than 1.75 in all subjects.
    • Scholarship is renewable every trimester thereafter
    • Highest Honors with a rank of 1 should come up from accrediting schools of graduating classes with an enrollment of at least 50 graduates (especially in provinces)
    • Duly signed Certification from the school principal of his/her rank in the graduating class.
  3. One trimester half scholarship for Highest Honors with a rank of 2
    • Scholarship is renewable every trimester thereafter
    • Scholar should maintain an acceptable academic performance with a general average of 1.25 with no grade lower than 1.75 in all subjects, INC, Withdrawn/Dropped.
    • He/She should come up from accrediting schools of graduating classes with an enrollment of at least 50 graduates (especially in provinces)
    • Duly signed Certification from the school principal of his/her rank in the graduating class.
  4. Departmental Awards are to be deliberated and decided by the respective College Dean and Faculty concerned (Dean’s List)
  5. Mother Francisca del Espiritu Santo Scholarship Program
    • Religious Education students who have a grade not lower than 1.50 in any major subject and 1.75 in minor subject
    • Renewable every trimester if the student maintains an acceptable academic performance
CHED Scholarship Programs (College)
  • Grant-in-Aid (Tulong Dunong)

The Tulong Dunong Program is open to Filipino Citizens who are enrolled in any CHED- accredited institution in the Philippines. Applicants must have a General Weighted Average (GWA) of at least 80% or its equivalent in the previous school year.

  • Full Merit – CHED Scholarship Program (CSP)

Applicants must be incoming freshmen/first year students who are eligible for enrollment in college, with general weighted average (GWA) of at least 96% and must enroll in recognized priority programs in private Higher Education Institutions (HEIs).

  • Half Merit – CHED Scholarship Program (CSP)

Applicants must be incoming freshmen/first year students who are eligible for enrollment in college, with general weighted average (GWA) of at least 93% to 95% and must enroll in recognized priority programs in private Higher Education Institutions (HEIs).

  • Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES-UniFAST)

TES is a grant-in-aid program under RA 109931 or Universal to Quality Tertiary Education Act given to qualified students enrolled in CHED recognized public and private higher education institutions to support at least the partial cost of tertiary education.

Note: These scholarship programs are subject for approval and screening by the CHED Scholarship committee.
